What is Online Affiliate?

Online Affiliate is Kaiser Permanente’s self-service portal available to external providers. It allows providers access to several time-saving features, such as:

  • Patient eligibility, benefits, and demographics
  • Referrals/authorizations (for contracted providers)
  • View and print EOP’s (Explanation of Payments)
  • View Kaiser electronic medical records (contracted groups and licensed clinical staff)
  • Check the status of submitted claims and view claim details (service date, billed amount, allowed amount, patient responsibility)
  • Confirm payment information (check number, payment date, amount)

Perform the following "Take Action" on a claim

  • Submit a claim inquiry related to 'denied', or 'in progress' claims
  • Submit an inquiry related to a check payment, request a copy of a check or report a change of address for a specific claim.
  • Submit appeals or disputes - request a reconsideration of a payment
  • Respond to KP request for information

Member Eligibility Guest Access

Kaiser Permanente also allows providers to view basic member eligibility using our Member Eligibility Guess Access portal.

Online Affiliate Registration and Sign-On

There are two simple steps to gain access to the Online Affiliate portal. This includes:

The first step in gaining access to Kaiser Permanente’s Online-Affiliate tool for your Practice, Group, or Facility is the Completion of our Provider Entity Agreement. The Entity Agreement needs to be signed by an Owner, CEO, CFO, VP, or other Executive.

Be advised that we only require one Provider Entity Agreement per Tax ID for each region you wish to access. This agreement outlines the conditions and responsibilities that the authorized signer must assume for any individual user who associates themselves with the Practice, Group, or Facility.

Unsure whether we have an agreement on file for your provider group?

You may verify by submitting an Online Affiliate Support Case with your group name and Tax ID. Someone will respond to confirm if we have an agreement on file.

Please read, sign, and return the Provider Entity Agreement using our webform1:

To proceed with the user registration, navigate to the New User Registration Portal.

If you already have a User ID and need to make changes to your account, see the Sign-on and Account Management section.
